cheap components June 21, 2010 Steveareeno After one weekend and three pots of coffee, the bracket holding the lid to the handle broke. The metal holding it is a VERY thin and bends almost as easy as solder. The basket and tube/base are made from the same material. For $28 you think they could have used a little more rigid metal, especially on the lid bracket since it is opened and close frequently. I am tempted to send it back.
camp coffee at it's best June 7, 2010 K. Garcia (Blaine, Wa United States) Bought this for a week long camping trip. Can't go without our morning cup of coffee. Worked great. Just as expected. If using fine ground coffee make sure to use a filter otherwise you'll get lots of sludge at the bottom of the pot. Also, you'll need to use a pot holder or towel because the handle does get hot.
Gotta have coffee April 26, 2010 Michael Hennes (Michigan) Lives up to campfire or stovetop. Ya gotta have coffee even when you're camping. Was nice to get one that wasn't blue.
Love my percolater April 14, 2010 S. Moore (Charleston, SC USA) Received my red enamel percolater quickly and it was just what I was looking for. I needed to replace a worn out percolater and was looking for one that was bright in color and easy to use. This fits my needs perfectly. It brightens my kitchen and perks great coffee. Have no problem with the enamel or the insides.
Cool red coffee pot. March 30, 2010 Russ Brown (Seattle, WA USA) It is a decent quality camping percolater and it matched the rest of our camping enamelware.
