After one weekend and three pots of coffee, the bracket holding the lid to the handle broke. The metal holding it is a VERY thin and bends almost as easy as solder. The basket and tube/base are made from the same material. For $28 you think they could have used a little more rigid metal, especially on the lid bracket since it is opened and close frequently. I am tempted to send it back.

Bought this for a week long camping trip. Can't go without our morning cup of coffee. Worked great. Just as expected. If using fine ground coffee make sure to use a filter otherwise you'll get lots of sludge at the bottom of the pot. Also, you'll need to use a pot holder or towel because the handle does get hot.

Received my red enamel percolater quickly and it was just what I was looking for. I needed to replace a worn out percolater and was looking for one that was bright in color and easy to use.
