Product Description
Rest easy on your Big Agnes Dual Core Rectangular Sleeping Pad. This inflatable sleeping pad offers insulation from the cold ground, yet it's lightweight enough to carry backpacking. Big Agnes stuffed the Dual Core with PrimaLoft eco synthetic insulation and high-density foam to help keep you warm, even when you camp in winter. At 2.5 inches thick, this pad is luxurious to lie on, yet it compresses nicely for easy carrying in your backpack. Use the Dual Core with your Big Agnes sleeping bag for a cozy backcountry bed.

5 out of 5 stars Keeps a Wide Load Off the Deck   September 7, 2010

OK, so it's not self inflating. But, this is an awesome sleeping pad. Not only does it keep me warm and dry, but it smooths out even the roughest terrain. I like this as much as any of the self-inflating uberpads that I own.

5 out of 5 stars Great pad for car camping in the cold   May 10, 2010

Ignore the original reviewer, who ordered the WRONG pad and then gave it a low review score (idiot). This pad is great for car camping, sleeping on a cot or if you are out hunting. It only weighs 2 lbs 8 oz, and is much warmer than the insulated Air core pad, which is good for back packing. The whole Big Agnes sleep system is amazing. Don't just try their pads (which are less expensive than Expeds) try their sleeping bags too. Once you slip one of these pads in the sleeping bags pad sleeve you will never go back to a regular sleeping bag. With the pad and bag coupled you can't roll off the pad and when you twist and turn in your sleep the bag stays put! just like sleeping at home.

2 out of 5 stars My Mistake   May 7, 2010

ordering this pad was a mistake. I got it confused with the Big Agnes Insulated Air Core. It is the same size when inflated but uninflated and packed it is twice as large and 4 pounds heavier. Yes, it is insulated for 0 degrees instead of 15 but otherwise looks and feels the same (I have both now). Not something I would expect most folks who aren't winter campers would need. It is also very difficult to inflate.
