Wrong use for me. July 17, 2010 William Evins (Arlington Heights, IL United States) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Word from the uninitiated - this device can be used by someone with no stability challenges. My challenge is an extremely unstable knee, so I need a device that steadies me - is either much more robust or multi-feet. This one does me no good because I would tend to rely on it - and there is zero horizontal stability, so for me it is more dangerous to use than nothing at all.
Walking Stick June 24, 2010 Franklin L. Fox (Millersville, Pa, US) A well designed unit. Very light and easy to carry. I used it over very rough terrains.
not worth the money June 22, 2010 T. Magnani (Los Angeles) I purchased these to have in case of an emergency and I needed to walk a distance more than a few miles. I have stability problems due to back pain. They were not easy to open and lock, and once locked, very difficult to close up again. I thought they were a good price, but I am convinced that I need to spend more money and get a real quality product. I would not recommend these to anyone.
really useful stick June 19, 2010 T. Arnold I hope I am talking of the stick from Jack's Tool Shed because I bought it a couple of years ago & it is terrific. It is a hiking stick which collapses for packing, but it's best part for me is to attach my camera to the top = instant monopod. With my new camera which sadly lacks a viewfinder this is so useful!! Several young in the depths of the African desert thought it was incredible!
I did write after puchase of the superior customer relations which replaced by overnight express a faulty stick so that I would have it in time for trip. No I am not affiliated in any way with the seller. I am so grateful & astonished when I receive real personal service!
I love them. June 12, 2010 Nancy W (Arizona) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have two that I use for walking every morning. It's incredible quality for the price.
